RCMP continue search for missing elderly Vermilion man

Vermilion RCMP is calling for the public’s help in finding 78-year-old Gerhart Kiel.

Kiel, also known as Jerry Kelly, was reported missing on March 25 but was last heard from on November 23, 2019 in Vermilion.

He is described as 6’0″, 175 lbs with short grey hair, hazel eyes and wears glasses.

RCMP believe he is travelling in a 2009 black Ford Ranger with Alberta license plate NFU 020 which has not been found.

There is concern for his safety and well-being and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Vermilion RCMP at 780-853-4441, their local detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
