Four people are being charged for a break and enter in the County of Vermilion River.
Kitscoty RCMP were called to the incident in progress at a rural location at 11 p.m. on May 13. Vermilion RCMP also responded to the incident on a farmyard and found a truck with a stolen license plate. Various break-in tools were seized from inside the truck.
Mounties say after further investigation the suspects broke into a fenced farm yard and four people were arrested.
Megan Atwood, Shane Comerford, Paige Tkachuk and Kenneth Thomas, both from Vermilion, were jointly charged with breaking and entering, possession of break-in instruments and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Thomas is facing additional charges of failing to comply with a probation order and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
The four were released with conditions and will appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on August 17.
