Celebrating the life of teens gone too soon

The family of teen Aimie Hurley would like to invite people to the celebration of her life on Sunday. The celebration is taking place on the one-year anniversary of the night she and her five friends lost their lives in a tragic car accident. The family have planned the event as a way to do something in Aimie’s memory and to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Aimie’s aunt, Betty Babcock, says that the Lloydminster community has been with them every step of the way and has shown tremendous support since the tragedy. Babcock says Aimie was a very fun loving teen who cared a lot about others, especially her family. The celebration will take place in Bud Miller All Seasons Park from 2-8 P.M. As part of the celebrations there will be live music, a photo booth, bouncy castles and children’s games.
