The Government of Saskatchewan has opened a temporary subsidy they say will help businesses enhance safety protocols and adjust business models as they re-open.
The Re-Open Saskatchewan Training Subsidy will reimburse private-sector employers for 100 per cent of their COVID-19 training costs, up to $10,000. The $2 million initiative, the province explains, will mitigate against additional financial impacts from training employees on the new guidelines.
It is available for businesses open now and which will re-open in a later phase.
The application deadline for RSTS is July 31, 2020, and can be found on Saskatchewan’s website.
