Battlefords RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a woman.
In the evening of Tuesday, December 8, the police were called to a home in the 1000 block of 103 Street, where a 36-year-old woman was in distress. EMS arrived on the scene and transported her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The police say the woman had been in the company of a number of people earlier in the evening, and they are cooperating with the investigation.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the Coroner’s Office has ordered an autopsy to be conducted.
