Killam RCMP are investigating an accident that has left one person dead.
Early in the evening of Wednesday, December 9, the police were called to a collision on Highway 13 at Range Road 444 near Strome, Alberta, where a Toyota Prius was found in the ditch, with a 38-year-old woman found dead behind the wheel.
Investigators say the car was travelling eastbound on the highway, when it lost control at a curve in the rode, and collided with a westbound commercial vehicle. The driver of the commercial vehicle was uninjured.
The RCMP say poor weather and road conditions were responsible for the accident, and no charges will be laid.
