Lloydminster RCMP arrest man on Canada-wide warrant

Lloydminster RCMP have arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

The Meridian Booster reports that in the evening of Thursday, December 10, the police received a tip about 22-year-old Daniel Fenrich, from Paradise Hill, being at Bennigan’s, a bar inside the Tropical Inn. Fenrich was wanted for violating parole. He had been previously serving time for failure to comply with undertaking or recognizance, possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in scheduled substances, assault, use of force, mischief, failure to comply with probation, failure to comply with a recognizance, and failure to appear.

The RCMP say that when Fenrich was confronted by officers, he went into custody quietly.

“If somebody knows about him, it’s likely someone will see him out in the community and hold him accountable to his conditions, if they’re aware of them,” said Corporal Tammy Hollingsworth.

With parole now revoked, he will be going back to jail.
