The Saskatchewan RCMP say they’ve arrested a 27-year-old woman in connection with the death of Braeden Alfred James Sparvier.
As a result of a joint investigation by the RCMP Major Crimes Unit North and the Prince Albert RCMP, Shari Heathen from Onion Lake has been arrested. She is charged with alleged second-degree murder. She will be making her first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on July 17, 2020.
Sparvier’s body was found outside the RM of Frenchman Butte on January 1st 2020. An autopsy by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service on the 26-year-old determined his cause of death to be a homicide, however, how he died has not been released.
The RCMP says this investigation is ongoing.
