Two more active cases and one recovery has been recorded in the MD of Wainwright, according to Alberta Health data. As of July 27th, there is a total of 12 active cases and two recoveries in the area.
More recoveries were recorded in the surrounding areas with all seven cases in the County of Vermilion River listed as recovered. The County of Minburn also saw two additional recoveries and is now at one active case and three recoveries.
The County of Two Hills has two active cases and seven recoveries.
The province recorded 80 new cases out of 7,900 tests completed. There are 1,397 active cases in Alberta.
There are 156 active cases in the central zone with 21 people being treated in hospital and four in intensive care. There are 172 cases in the zone that are considered to be recovered.
