Possible COVID-19 exposure at Battleford business

The SHA is informing residents of a possible COVID-19 exposure at a local business in Battleford.

The ask anyone who visited the Co-op Food Store on 91-22nd Street from August 11th to the 14th to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days since the last day they visited the store.

According to the store social media page, they have temporarily closed their store and will reopen when it’s been thoroughly cleaned and it is safe for customers.

Symptoms include fever, chills, cough, headache, aches and pains, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath and a possible loss of sense of smell or taste.

Anyone with symptoms should self-isolate for 14 days and call Healthline 811.

SHA remind residents to follow provincial health guidelines including practicing physical distancing, frequent hand washing.
