Man fails to appear in Lloydminster court on forcible confinement charges

A man charged with forcible confinement among other offences failed to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on August 31st.

A bench warrant was issued for 27-year-old Luke Dean after having no contact with his lawyer.

The other man co-accused in the investigation, Jason Palsich, will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on September 3rd.

The two are facing charges in connection to a search warrant issued for a property on the 400 block of 44th Street. RCMP were informed by a victim that the two men had allegedly assaulted them and confined them to the house before being able to flee.

The charges against the two co-accused haven’t been proven in court.
