Five new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan

Five new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Saskatchewan. Three cases were reported in the Saskatoon zone and two in the South Central zone.

There are four active cases in the North West zone. The Lloydminster and district subregion and the Cut Knife Wilkie zone have two cases apiece. Both the Battlefords zone and St Walburg/Turtleford area have zero confirmed active cases.

Across the province, of the 1,643 reported cases since the pandemic began, 40 are considered active. Two people are being treated in hospital in Saskatoon.

There was one more recovery, making for a total of 1,579 people recovered.
