Lloydminster set to close Spray Park monday

The City will be shutting down the Spray Park on Monday.

With fall weather on the way, the park will be shutting off the taps for another year. Sunday, September 13th will be the last day people can enjoy the facility. The City will then close up September 14th.

In the meantime, the city is reminding people that they still need to follow COVID-19 guidelines at the Spary Park should they chose to use it.

This means ensuring physical distancing of two meters unless it’s with people from the same home or extended household. People should wash or sanitize before and after using the spray park, and kids should have adult supervision to make sure they’re keeping up with distance rules. Users should also avoid putting unwashed hands near their eyes, mouth or nose. If they’re sick, they should also stay home.

The Spray Park will be on regular hours on 10 AM to 8 PM until Monday’s closure, provided the weather allows it.
