Battlefords RCMP investigating after shots fired at a home

Battlefords RCMP are investigating after shots were fired at a home in North Battleford Saturday morning.

At around 9 AM on October 17th, police were called to a report of five or six shots at a home on 111th Street. The police investigation found that while two houses sustained damages from small arms fire, no one was hurt.

The RCMP believes that as many as four vehicles were involved, which include a white pick up truck, a white van or SUV and a dark coloured SUV. One of these vehicles was already found, and the suspects caught after a lengthy chase, police say. Two men were arrested, and a gun was allegedly seized as well.

Both men remain in custody, and the incident is still under investigation. Charges are still pending.
