SHA warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Servus Sports Centre

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has put out a new advisory about COVID-19 exposure at the Servus Sports Centre.

The SHA puts out this advisory when they receive information that a person or persons testing positive for COVID-19 was at a location while likely infectious. People visiting the following locations at these times should self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms:

October 24

  • Servus Sports Centre (hockey area only), 5202 12 Street, 9 to 10 a.m.

October 21 and 22

  • North Battleford Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 492-114th Street, no times identified

In a release, the city says the sports centre will stay open and they will continue following directions of the SHA. They mention all public areas, including the fitness centre and fitness track, are disinfected after a user group leaves.

If symptoms of COVID-19 develop, people should self-isolate for 14 days, calling their medical practitioner or Healthline 811 for next steps or testing information.

Locations in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Shellbrook and Hague were also listed on the SHA website.
