Students return to physical classes at Bishop Lloyd

Bishop Lloyd students who learned from home on Wednesday will return to class Thursday.

Classes 7-5 and 7-6 had a day of at home learning November 4th after a positive COVID-19 case “impacted an individual at Bishop Lloyd Middle School,” the division said. Contact tracing was undertaken by the Saskatchewan Health Authority after this case was confirmed.

Parents and guardians of students identified as close contacts have been contacted and given direction directly by Public Health. These students will move to online learning for a directed period of time. All other students will return to class as normal on November 5th.

Specific information for these classrooms has been shared with the school community and those students’ families.

The LPSD says they will continue working with school administration, the SHA and Public Health to prioritize student and staff health.
