Several Lloydminster locations included in SHA COVID-19 exposure advisory

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is issuing an advisory about potential COVID-19 exposure at multiple locations in Lloydminster and in the Battlefords.

Public Health issues a warning when a person or persons went to a location while likely infectious. If someone was at these locations, they should self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms over the next fourteen days. These locations include:

Lloydminster

October 27 and 28

  • Gold Horse Casino, 3910 41 St., 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day

October 28

  • Determined Boot Camp, 5007 50 Ave., no time identified by client
  • Superstore, 5031 44 St., 4:30 to 5 p.m.
  • Mr. Bills, 5405 44 St., 7 to 7:30 p.m.

October 30

  • Safeway, 5211 44 St., 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Servus Sport Centre, 5202 12 St., 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • 4th Meridian Brewery, 2626 50 Ave., 6:20 to 7 p.m.
  • May Cinema 6 Theatre, 4704 49 Ave., 6:30 to 9 p.m.

October 31

If COVID-19 symptoms develop, people should immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing. Symptoms could develop any time within two days to fourteen days following exposure.

The city notes the Servus Sports Centre will remain open and staff will continue following the direction of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. All publicly available areas, including the fitness centre and fitness track, are disinfected once a user group leaves the area.

The City of Lloydminster has not mandated the use of facemasks, but encourages anyone who wants to wear a mask to do so.

Locations in Meadow Lake, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon and Regina were also included in the warning.
