Lloydminster residents can nominate a person in the community and make sure they know their volunteering isn’t going unnoticed.
Family and Community Supports Services (FCSS) Lloydminster is recognizing volunteer efforts from residents and will be giving them a coupon for a drink at Second Cup Coffee as well as an appreciation card from the city.
Manager of Social Programs and Services Patrick Lancaster says volunteers play an important role within the community.
“Whether it be raising thousands of dollars for a local sports team or a loved one needing medical support, making sure our most vulnerable are fed during a pandemic or offering positive messages, our community members continue to show us their can-do attitude and get things done for Lloydminster.”
