The Lloydminster Catholic School Division says a COVID-19 case has been confirmed at the school.
Health officials made the division aware of the case on December 11th, and two people had been noted as close contacts. Any people who need to self-isolate have already been notified, and anyone who has not been contacted has not been affected.
The LCSD notes that they appreciate the SHA and Public Health’s work, and remind anyone entering schools to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. If they or their child has any symptoms of COVID-19, they should call HealthLine at 811 and remain at home.
To respect privacy, the LCSD says no further details will be released.
