Bobcats Ladies’ Night bigger than ever

The Bobcats’ Ladies Night has had another successful year.

The event took place Saturday, January 16th at the Centennial Civic Center , and included a photo booth, games, a midnight buffet, and dueling pianos for entertainment.

This year’s event went the smoothest since the event’s inception, according to Business Manager for the Bobcats’, Malcolm Radke. He also said that the dueling piano players were once again a big factor in raising funds, by generously donating their tips back to the event.

This year’s event even had the most ladies in attendance, three hundred, in comparison with past years. Organizer, Kandace Letkeman says she’s already getting the ball rolling on next year’s fundraiser.

“I have my list started already: we need more space for dancing… definitely bigger venue. Dueling pianos, if I want them, they’re in,” says Letkeman.

This was Letkeman’s first year organizing the fundraiser and the event raised roughly $13,000 for the Lloydminster Bobcats Junior A hockey organization.
