Highway patrol recently had to put on the flashing lights when they ran a Saskatchewan license plate, only to realize that the vehicle was unregistered.
Maidstone Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan Unit spotted the vehicle on Highway 17 in the Lloydminster area on April 16th. When the vehicle was pulled over, RCMP discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s license.
Officers also saw that there were four children in the vehicle, all under the age of ten and without child booster seats of any appropriate restraints.
RCMP took steps to get the children safely to their home and offered guidance to the family to prevent such a situation happening in the future.
The vehicle had to be towed and the driver was given several fines.
