Battlefords RCMP continue search for wanted woman

The Battlefords RCMP is renewing their call for tips on the whereabouts of Cassandra Fox, who is wanted on several charges.

The 24-year-old Sweetgrass First Nation woman is currently wanted on over 30 charges, including possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon and possession of stolen property, along with numerous other criminal code charges.

These charges stem from a number of investigations, including an assault at a business on Highway 16 in North Battleford on April 30th, 2020, where two victims in a car were sprayed by bear spray by two females.

Fox is also accused in connection with another incident on December 6th, 2020, when members of several task forces had to chase a vehicle being driven by a man wanted on violent offence charges.

The pursuit ended with the police taking the male, as well as Cassandra Fox into custody. A loaded firearm was found in the vehicle. Fox failed to appear in court on the charges stemming from the incident and is still wanted.

She is described as 5’3” and 123 pounds. Police want to advise the public not to approach Cassandra Fox if she is seen, but to call their local RCMP detachment, 9-1-1 or CrimeStoppers.
