Bonnyville RCMP’s Odie Hockey Challenge a big success

The Bonnyville RCMP say Odie’s Challenge charity Hockey Game was a big success.

A large number of donations were contributed for the Bonnyvillle Food Bank and there’s still more coming in from the high schools. As well, Bonnyville Victim Services received over $1,100.oo in donations.

Participating high school students and spectators from Notre Dame High School, Ecole Des Beaux-Lacs and Bonnyville Centralized High School were given wristbands with the writing, “Maintain the Right” on them, an English version of the RCMP’s motto: “Maintiens le droit,” challenging them to keep on the straight and narrow and uphold the law.

Bonnyville RCMP as well as Constables Guilbeault and Carroll would like to thank the community for their support, especially REMAX Bonnyville Realty for their cash donation and lending of their trailer for the event.

Constable Laura Carroll asks that anyone at the event who snapped some pictures to please email them to her for the RCMP to have as a keepsake. Send the photos to [email protected]
