With Environment Canada having issued heat warnings this week for Lloydminster and the Midwest region, the opening of the Spray park at Bud Miller All Seasons will offer some welcome relief. The family fun area will observe COVID-19 guidelines.
Recommended public health guidelines include:
Individuals who are sick are asked to stay home.
Maintain a physical distance of three metres between people not from the same household or extended household.
Individuals should wash or sanitize their hands before and after using the facility. Avoid putting their unwashed hands to eyes, nose or mouth.
Avoid overcrowding. Groups must not exceed the restrictions on public gatherings.
An adult should accompany children to ensure compliance with physical distancing.
The Spray park will switch on daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting. Residents may check the City’s website or social media for updates.
