SHA advising of increased COVID-19 exposure in North Battleford

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising people about increased exposure to COVID-19 in North Battleford.

Health officials say that a person or persons who were sick with COVID-19 was in a Crown Cab between 6 PM and 6 AM on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, while likely infectious.

The SHA explains that anyone who took a Crown Cab in North Battleford during these times must immediately self-isolate for 14 days following the date of exposure.

If someone develops symptoms, they should call HealthLine 811, their physician or nurse practitioner if you develop symptoms to arrange testing. Someone could develop symptoms between two to 14 days of transmission.

A full list of symptoms is on the Saskatchewan website. These PSAs are issued, the SHA says, when there is a reasonable risk of exposure for the public.
