Bonnyville RCMP recovered drugs in a traffic stop over the weekend.
On Sunday, an officer conducted a roadside check with a vehicle on 46 street near 54 ave and noticed a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was arrested and the vehicle searched, wherein police found marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, as well as prescription pills under another person’s name.
The male has since been released on bail and will appear in court Tuesday, March 22nd.
