A 35-year-old, Glendon man has been arrested after a violent domestic assault and arson.
The man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and pulled on her hair so hard he ripped a chunk of it out. He then allegedly tipped her vehicle over with his skid-steer and set it on fire.
Sergeant Sarah Parke says the RCMP tried to keep him in custody, but a Justice of the Peace decided to release him on cash bail.
“He’s out on conditions right now… no contact with the victim and a curfew: midnight to 6 a.m.,” explains Parke.
