Two arrested in Lloydminster firearm call

Two people have been arrested on several charges after an incident on Sunday.

On July 11th, around 8 AM, the Lloydminster RCMP was called to an area of 39th Street on reports of several people walking around with a firearm. After securing the area, officers found two people allegedly involved, and arrested them without incident, the RCMP says.

During a search, officers allegedly seized methamphetamine, along with several weapons including bear spray and brass knuckles.

The RCMP says Kennan Dilion, 18, of Onion Lake, has been charged with four counts of alleged possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of prohibited weapon possession,  and one accusation each of possession of a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm.
