SHA advises of increased COVID-19 exposure risk at Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church on July 11th

The SHA is advising anyone who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and was in attendance at Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on July 11th, to self-isolate.

Health officials have determined some who was positive with COVID-19 and infectious was at the church at that time.

If a person is fully vaccinated, getting their second dose on or before June 25th, they do not need to self-isolate. They should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 until July 25th, and if symptoms develop, self-isolate and get tested. Anyone not knowing their vaccination status can reach out to a local Public Health Office.

If someone is not vaccinated or only partially, or was not fully vaccinated before June 25th, they should immediately self-isolate and remain in isolation until July 25, 2021. They should also seek testing for COVID-19 immediately, and again on July 21, 2021.

Self-isolation means staying home, avoiding contact with anyone who is not fully vaccinated, and staying away from work, school, stores, social events and any other public setting.

Symptoms can develop any time within the 14 days, and should they, people should call Healthline 811 to book tests or get more information.
