For one night only. It’s the solitary home game for this season for the Lloydminster Xtreme Lacrosse team.
With the ice going in at the Civic Centre on Saturday, Friday July 23 will be a marquis showing as the Xtreme play host to the Lakeland Heat.
Graham Murray, Head Coach with the Lloydminster Xtreme Junior B Lacrosse team says they have kept up a busy schedule.
“We have already had two tournaments in Edmonton, the last two weekends. We were second placed in one and fifth in another. We then go to Sylvan Lake August 6-8, and that will be the end of the season.”
With this one time home opportunity, Murray says they want to make it special for the fans as they host a fundraiser barbecue from 7:30 p.m. along with a $1000 guarantee 50/50, and the teams going head-to-head at 8:30 p.m.
“We are looking to put on a showcase and admission is free. We are hoping to get the 50/50 really big and for everybody to get a burger.”
