Come early and get your favourite spot as the LloydMall rolls out the big screen on Thursday evening for the Lloydminster Rescue Squad.
Select stores will be staying open late and the Mall will be serving up the requisite popcorn and candy.
Marketing Coordinator Shannon McEwan says parking spots will be available from 5:30 p.m. as they pitch in for a worthy cause.
“We would really like to have a sell out event. Obviously those proceeds [are] going towards Lloydminster Rescue Squad. That helps their organization [with] training or equipment. So it does go towards a great cause.”
The Mall is catering for 200 vehicles and admission is $25 per vehicle. New York Fries will stay open until about 9 p.m. for movie-goers to get their poutine fix. The main event, Spies In Disguise is scheduled to start at sunset, about 9:30 p.m.
“Come early. We have some giveaways from our retailers. The first 20 cars will actually receive from Joe & Kate free admission to their Summer clearance event on August 5th. Quark Shoes will be giving out coupons. It’s $10 off a $100 purchase.”
Movie-goers will be able to enter the Mall Parking Lot off 52 Avenue near Dollarama.
