Three more Summer camps to go

The City says it’s not too late to get your kids signed up for one of their Summer camps.

Eight weeks of Summer activities are currently hitting their mid-point heading into August.

Cindy Rekimowich, Manager for Programs & Events with the City of Lloydminster says there are three camps left.

“The first camp is Mad Science on August 3-6 at Bud Miller. We have Spy Kids camp on August 9-13 at the Servus Sports Centre and Summer Mini-Olympics August 16-20 at the Servus Sports Centre. We have room in those camps still.”

The age groups run from four to ten years old. Rekimowich says the camps are providing fun summer activities for the children.

“[The] camps have been really good. We’ve had lots of kids registering and having lots of fun out at Bud [Miller Park] and at the Servus Sports Centre. [They have been] playing games, doing craft, going swimming [and] exploring the Park. We’ve got lots of positive feedback from families and kids.”

Rekimowich adds on the Thursday before each camp, if they are not at capacity, they open it up to day camp registration, so someone can register their child for a single day instead of the entire week of a camp.

More information can be found on the City’s website.
