Both lanes on Hwy 16 are open now. Just the off ramps for Hwy 60 are closed at this point.
A semi truck flipped over around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1st and spilled sulfuric acid, which reacted with the moisture causing a potential hazard.
Police were on-scene and had contained the area within 15 minutes after the crash, but were forced to clear out a 1 kilometer radius of the area to traffic. There is no danger to public safety at this time.
