Wainwright town council to use revenue from photo radar for new crossing lights

Wainwright Town Council has had its first meeting for the month of March this past Tuesday evening.

During the meeting, council carried a motion for the public works department to use the revenue from photo radar fines to install a pair of new solar crossing lights at Wainwright Elementary School. The current lights need to be replaced as they are malfunctioning and could potentially create a dangerous situation for children trying to cross the street.
