It was on that day in 1957 that the final weld went on the cross-Canada natural gas mainline infrastructure system. SaskEnergy joins the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) in observing the day and celebrates the work of its staff to deliver natural gas safely to communities across the province. In acknowledging the personal commitment of staff, SaskEnergy notes that even on the coldest days, their team works efficiently to keep homes and businesses warm. SaskEnergy serves over 400,000 customers across the province through the company’s 86,000 kilometres of natural gas lines.
