The concrete intersection at Highway 16 (44 Street) and 62 Avenue is complete and crews are targeting the paving work between 62 Avenue and 75 Avenue, according to the City.
With crews moving material for the paving process, delays at the intersection of Highway 16 and 62 Avenue can be expected the City said.
The asphalt paving will go into the week of October 25th and pavement markings will follow, weather permitting.
Open for traffic is 62 Avenue north of Highway 16, also westbound traffic can turn north onto 62 Avenue and 62 Avenue southbound traffic can turn west onto Highway 16.
The City is reminding motorists that 62 Avenue southbound traffic is not permitted to turn east onto Highway 16. Motorists must use the 59 Avenue detour routes.
