Eighteen year old Myron Moyah who is wanted by Lloydminster RCMP in connection with a shooting and a police pursuit that occurred in Lloydminster on September 21st has been arrested in Cold Lake.
On Monday November 1st, a joint operation conducted by the RCMP’s Lakeland Crime Reduction Unit with assistance from the Cold Lake Detachment Officers, Cold Lake Police Dog Service, Cold Lake General Investigative Section, Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit and the Eastern Alberta District Criminal Intelligence Unit, led to the arrest of the wanted man.
Moyah is facing an outstanding arrest warrant and is being held in police custody pending the outcome of a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
Cold Lake RCMP are thanking the public for their patience during what they describe as a high risk arrest that took place in the area of 25th and 28th Street in Cold Lake.
