RCMP conduct search revealing $70K worth of stolen property

Rosetown RCMP have recovered a large quantity of stolen property.

With the assistance of Rosetown Traffic Services Unit,  Kindersley RCMP, Warman RCMP, Outlook RCMP, Biggar RCMP, and Saskatoon RCMP General Investigators Unit, Rosetown RCMP are currently investigating.

The property has been linked to break and enters in Kindersley, Warman, and Outlook as well as at the Rosetown area.

On March 5^th, RCMP conducted a traffic stop where the vehicle was found out to be stolen and its 3 occupants subsequently arrested.

Further investigation led to the execution of 2 search warrants, one in Rosetown and one in Kindersley, yielding a variety of stolen goods, estimated in excess of $70,000.

4 adult suspects were in court Monday, March 7th, and the 15-year-old youth from Prince Alberta is scheduled to appear in Rosetown Court on Tuesday, May 10th. In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the youth’s name will not be released.

Suspects face the following charges:

24-year-old, Brandon Cole Brick, of Saskatoon;

• 1 count of Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5000.00 CC Sec. 354(1)(a)
• 3 counts of possession of weapons contrary to court order CC Sec. 117.01(3)
• 1 count of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm CC Sec. 86(2)
• 2 counts of Possess weapon for a Dangerous Purpose CC Sec. 88(2)
• 1 count Possess of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle CC Sec. 94(2)
• 1 count of Possess a loaded Prohibited Firearm CC Sec. 95(2)
• 1 count of Possess Break and Enter Tools CC Sec.351
• 2 counts of Possession of Controlled Drugs and Substances

20-year-old, Destiny Lynn Desjarlais of Saskatoon;

• 1 count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00  CC Sec. 354(1)(a)
• 1 count of Possess break in tools CC Sec. 351(1)
• 1 count of Unsafe storage of firearms CC Sec. 86(2)
• 2 counts of Possess weapon for a Dangerous Purpose CC Sec. 88(2)
• 1 count of Possess a loaded Prohibited Firearm CC Sec. 95(2)
• 1 count of Possession of Controlled Drugs and Substances

26-year-old, Travis Adrian Fisher, also of Saskatoon;

• 1 count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00  CC Sec. 354(1)(a)
• 1 count of Possess break in tools CC Sec. 351(1)
• 1 count of Unsafe storage of firearms CC Sec. 86(2)
• 2 counts of Possess weapon for a Dangerous Purpose CC Sec. 88(2)
• 1 count of Possess a loaded Prohibited Firearm CC Sec. 95(2)

and 33-year-old, Sheldon Nickel, from Rosetown

• 5 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00  CC Sec. 354(1)(a)
