Police investigate after shots fired at vehicle on Hwy 16 west

Maidstone RCMP are investigating a report of shots being fired at a vehicle travelling on Highway 16 west of Lashburn.

Police say on February 13th at about 11:15 p.m., they had to respond to this report. There were no injuries.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle is being described as a dark coloured one ton truck with three occupants.

Maidstone RCMP are leading efforts to find and arrest the individual(s) responsible for the incident.

Police believe at this time, that this was not a targeted event.

They are reminding road users to report any suspicious activity on highways and roads to police immediately.
