Kitscoty RCMP charge two suspects in break and enter

Two men have been charged as suspects as Kitscoty RCMP investigate a break and enter at a business outside Marwayne.

Police say on January 23rd at 2:30 in the morning, they were called to a  break and enter in progress at the business place. They add a truck which was reported stolen from the business was discovered by officers in a ditch, a short distance away.

A man was later found near the collision site and was subsequently arrested.

Twenty-eight year-old Josh Thorne of Lashburn has been charged with alleged:

  • Break and enter
  • Theft of truck
  • Disguise with intent
  • Drive while suspended.

Further investigations led to the arrest of another man from Vermilion County.

Twenty-four year-old Murray Young also is facing the same charges.

The duo is to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court March 8th.

Police will not be providing further information as this matter is now before the court.
