Canada’s heavy oil capital is welcoming the return of its Heavy Oil Show September 14th – 15th at the Lloydminster Exhibition.
The 20th bi-annual showcase organized by the Lloydminster Oilfield Technical Society and team is themed Focusing Forward in 2022.
Event planners are looking forward to increased exhibits at the two-part showpiece.
Chairperson John Stanyer says the team is excited for the show’s return since the last edition in 2018.
“The Lloydminster Heavy Oil Show is a staple in the heavy oil industry, [which] is staring down the start of a new boom. The show will provide attendees and exhibitors with the chance to focus on the breadth of innovation within the sector over the past few years.”
The opening ceremony and banquet are scheduled for Tuesday, September 13th. A new attraction is a fireside chat during the banquet, and speakers will be announced later this year, according to the release, which adds that over the two days, attendees will be able to explore indoor and outdoor industry oil-themed exhibits and see demonstrations featuring oil and gas support services.
Organizers add that prominent energy officials will be speaking at a luncheon and panel discussion on day two.
