Return of Feast on the Farm

Yet another staple is making a comeback on the events calendar as Lakeland College serves up Feast on the Farm. Tickets are already on sale as College top brass are dishing on the fifth culinary delight that’s tabled for August 18th at the Research Centre, on the Vermilion campus.

“Feast on the Farm is one of our most enjoyable events,” says Dr. Alice Wainwright-Stewart, president and CEO of Lakeland College. “I’m so glad we are able to welcome guests to join us in celebrating and supporting student success.”

After a two-year break, the culinary feast will return outdoors under the large tent with musical entertainment from Drew Gregory.

Wainwright-Stewart says, “By supporting Feast on the Farm, our guests are providing funds that go directly towards creating powerful learning opportunities for our students.”

Feast on the Farm dollars have aided several student-led projects, including the Human Services Club’s playscape construction, a new grain shack for the Student-Managed Farm – Powered by New Holland and a redesign of the interior design technology program’s cutting room, according to officials.

Tickets for Feast on the Farm are $150. To purchase, phone 780-853-8401 or visit the College website.
