Lloydminster families displaced following house fire

Two Lloydminster families are without a home following a fire on Tuesday afternoon.

A family of four lived on the main level, while another family lived downstairs.

Fire crews say they were on scene in the 3700 block of 41A Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, where it took about four hours to knock the blaze down.

EMS crews say residents with minor injuries were treated on scene, however one fire crew member was taken to the Lloydminster Hospital for a pulled muscle.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
