The ground at the fairgrounds over at Halstead Downs will rumble around 1 p.m. Saturday, but not because of the chuckwagons.
The Lloyd Ex Fair will feature a new event called Running With the Bulls. Registration is online or at the Lloyd Ex from 11 a.m. to noon ahead of the early afternoon start.
Organizers are looking for 75 people to sign on to run with the bulls for a purse of up to $1500 with a $25 entrance fee. This fee is non-refundable. A t-shirt with a number will be given to each runner, and must be worn during the event.
Runners must be 18+ and sign a waiver agreeing to the risks and liability for their involvement. Cameras or Go-Pros must be secured to their body. They will face three rounds of running with wild, untamed bulls, states the Lloyd Ex website.
