Three Bonnyville teens have avoided charges following a 911 complaint.
On Friday, March 25th, around midnight police responded to a call for service from a citizen in Bonnyville who had seen a dark-coloured Chevy truck speeding, with a passenger hanging out the window and knocking over garbage cans.
Police did patrols until the suspect vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted, wherein the Constable discovered 3 teenagers to be the occupants.
The teens admitted to being the culprits and the officer explained they were chargeable for Mischief under $5,000, but if they cleaned up the messes they caused, the officer would let them go with a warning.
The teenagers complied in cleaning up the garbage and apologized to police. Their parents were informed and the driver in the incident was issued tickets for violations.
