Kindersley RCMP have issued a statement regarding a fatal accident that happened over the holiday weekend.
On the morning of Friday March 26th, police were dispatched to the scene of a multiple vehicle collision. A Ford Mustang travelling north on a gride road 6 miles northwest of Kindersley collided with a southbound Ford F350.
The 20-year-old male driver from Kindersley and sole occupant of the Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene. The 24-year-old male driver, and only occupant, of the truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
According to RCMP member, Meghan Mochoruk, road conditions are not believed to have been a factor in the accident and it is still under investigation. RCMP will not be releasing the names of the victims.
Also, Kindersley RCMP have not released any photographs from the scene at this time.
