National Cinema Day is being observed Saturday and May Cinema Six is onboard with a three-dollar deal for viewers to enjoy any movie in the lineup.
V.P. Noel May says they simply want to reward people by getting them out to see a movie.
“Essentially it’s an endeavour with the studios to get people back into theatres after years of closures with COVID. And rewarding customers who have stuck by us.”
The lineup includes a re-release of Spiderman, Minions, DC Super Pets, Paw Patrol, Top Gun, Bullet Train and Elvis. As well, May talks about an action horror flick.
“Beast is the biggest one. So it’s kind of like an action-chase one, where Idris Elba and he’s trapped in a safari and he has to protect his family from a big jungle cat.”
