A Sunday morning rollover has claimed the life of a 45-year-old driver.
On Oct. 2 at about 4:30 a.m., Maidstone RCMP along with EMS and Maidstone Fire and Rescue were called to the scene along the eastbound lane of Township Road 482, about 3 kms west of Highway 21 North.
Officers had to block the road in both directions as they led their investigation. Police say that a black SUV appeared to have sustained significant damage from rolling over multiple times. The sole-occupant of the vehicle was a man who was declared deceased on the scene, according to EMS.
Police have notified the family and victim services is providing support to the relatives of the deceased.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
