Lloydminster residents may now view several animated videos on city services on Youtube.
The series covers topics like curbside collection and roadway maintenance, street sweeping, sanding and snow removal. As well, navigating the landfill and best practices for water conservation.
“We created an animation series to provide a more engaging opportunity to show residents how popular operations work within our community and explain the small actions people can take to support city workers in executing work in our neighbourhoods and roadways,” says Mayor Gerald Aalbers. “The series further demonstrates the importance of ratepayer investments while highlighting the scope of work involved in many procedures and processes, which are sometimes not fully understood.”
The videos can be viewed on the city’s Youtube channel.
