Further investigations led officers to an adjacent home where they found a deceased adult female. She has been identified as Sharon Littlewolfe, 51-years from Margo, SK. Her family has been notified and victim services offered to them.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took over the investigation and determined that an adult male was the suspect  in connection to the injuries of all three victims, who then stole a vehicle from a nearby home. The man was known to all of the victims and the investigation indicated he was in a relationship with Sharon Littlewolfe.

At about 1:10 a.m., Tisdale RCMP received a report of an assault at a rural residence near Tisdale. Investigators indicate that a male suspect came to a home asking for help with a stuck vehicle. Police report that the suspect assaulted a man who lived at the dwelling. That victim was later taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but non-life-threatening, however was able to restrain the suspect until officers arrived and arrested him.

Investigators subsequently charged Brian Macleod of Lloydminster with:

  • One count second degree murder
  • One count attempted murder
  • Two counts aggravated assault
  • One count possession of property obtained by crime.
